Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing contributions and loan payments received from clients
  • Process income associated with the funds held in the plan
  • Prepare daily, weekly and quarterly reconciliation of plans
  • Maintain contribution files and scanning of plan documents
  • Assist in setup of new plans on the record keeping system
  • Assist in conversion of existing plans
  • Review of various reports for participant data
  • Resolve problem issues
  • Responsible for the transfer of files between the two different systems
  • Assist in other areas in operations as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in employee benefits
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Ability to retain numerous and varied processing procedures
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and handle fluctuations in work volume
  • Ability to learn various systems used for processing work flow
  • Proficient in Excel, ability to work with complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Need to possess good reconciliation skills, organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Need to possess good problem-solving skills
  • Need to be able to coordinate with administrators regarding work requests
  • Ability to analyze errors in processing, or delays in posting of contributions, loan payment or investment changes received, could create significant losses due to market fluctuations
