A unique opportunity to join the team at Douglas County’s only full-service resort and Sporting Club. The Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club would like to speak with an experienced Director of Sales with a passion for representing our 1,100 acre, five meeting and wedding venues, and outdoor sporting activities. Our premiere resort is home to corporate and wedding events throughout the year and is looking for an experienced Director of Sales who is driven to exceed expectations. Compensation:

$75,000 - $85,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for group total revenue, implementation, and results, including group rooms, group food and beverage, and venue rental.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through proactive sales efforts such as prospecting, outside sales calls, networking, etc. while maximizing banquet space to meet/exceed revenue goals.
  • Aggressively pursue revenue goals
  • Establish & nurture relationships with clients
  • Follow up on all sales leads and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Effectively promote the hotel's amenities, services, and events.
  • Attend relevant tradeshows and events to promote the hotel.
  • Establish & maintain monthly sales and expense forecasts for the department with consistent reporting to the General Manager
  • Assist in the development and recommendation of rate strategies.
  • Work closely with the hotel team to ensure that the resort standards for guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, and nurture a positive, professional work environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of the hotel’s annual Budget as well as the Sales & Marketing Plan
  • Maintain and input leads, accounts, contacts, groups, and events.
  • Ensure good standing in the community by developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts at the Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau, other hotels, local schools, local government, and other community and civic organizations.
  • Represent the hotel with enthusiasm and professionalism to hotel guests, clients, prospective clients, and the community.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience of 5 years as a sales professional in a related field is required
  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing
