Oversees operations staff, manages specific aspects of changeovers and assists with all duties needed for set up and changeover of the arena from event to event, to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule and tenant contractual specifications and requirements. Also responsible for multiple day-of event requirements as needed.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $21.00.

? Responsible for complete facility changeover as required by the event schedule andfacility guidelines.? Perform all set-up and emergency calls for events including, but not limited to:UMass Hockey, UMass basketball, concerts, trade shows, graduations, and anyother scheduled by the facility.? Performs operation of heavy equipment and machinery.? Assist with emergency repairs to arena equipment to ensure the success of thechangeover.? Assists with all Post Event Cleaning functions, including trash pick-up, sweepingand mopping as needed.? Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

? Have a high school diploma, GED, or related trade school training; valid driverslicense; and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with other staff.? Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual.? Knowledge of general tools necessary to perform changeovers in the arena.? Be a self-starter; have ability to take directions; and be able to work in small and largegroups to complete required task within time constraints and in a safe manner.? Be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies of up to 100 pounds on a regularbasis.? Willing to work a flexible schedule, mainly nights, and extra hours as needed; andwork in varying weather conditions.? Technical license preferred.
