Creative Financial Staffing is Hiring a Real Estate Acquisitions Manager - Charlotte, NC Near Charlotte, NC

In a new role due to continued growth, we are looking to hire an Acquisitions Manager to pursue new purchase opportunities in the commercial/flex asset class. The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for guiding and overseeing all aspects of sourcing, underwriting and closing multifamily real estate acquisitions in the Southeast with a focus on Charlotte, NC.

This includes working with senior leadership to develop target markets/opportunities, build and maintain reporting, and curate investment opportunities through a local network of investors, developers, lenders and brokers.

The Acquisitions Manager will participate in all aspects of the acquisitions process through the life cycle of an investment, including market research, financial modeling, diligence, financing, legal negotiations, and closing.
This opportunity offers a Base Salary plus commission on each property you identify and close, equity bonus, and general partner bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships in the local community with brokers and operators in the pursuit of new opportunities for the company to acquire
  • Identify industrial/commercial properties for the Company to acquire, underwrite, and get them approved to go under contract
  • Perform due diligence on properties using comps, data, site visits, market trends
  • Review financial statements and appraisals of property to be acquired
  • Present investment decks and summaries to leadership team for properties to acquire
  • Prepare letters of intent, contracts, and other paperwork to facilitate getting property under contract
  • Leverage our existing platform, lending, and business relationships to raise equity to close properties
  • Create and maintain a robust deal pipeline
  • Develop and maintain company reports, trackers, and databases, as needed
  • Achieve core business operating metrics and growth targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or real estate (commercial)
  • Experience with purchase and sale negotiations, due diligence investigations and drafting all real estate related documents
  • Experience and knowledge of corporate real estate, commercial real estate law and contracts, real estate leasing
  • Experience negotiating commercial and residential real estate related terms and conditions
