Seeking a school bus driver for field trips and athletic events during and after school for a 14 to 20 passenger school bus/van. The bus driver must have a CDL license. The Bus Driver is in charge of providing safe transportation for school children. Their duties include helping students board the bus and planning around traffic during trips.

A School Bus Driver interacts daily with children and serves as their trusted transportation to and from school. The School Bus Driver should be free of any traffic or criminal violations and should have an authoritative, yet calming demeanor and a strong understanding of traffic laws. Responsibilities and duties of the School Bus Driver include the following:

· Transport children and other passengers to and from school

· Obey all traffic laws

· Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times

· Ensure the safety of all students

· Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed

· Ensure that all passengers maintain a safe environment

· Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route

· Attend safety meetings as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL (Required)
