About the Opportunity:
JOB PURPOSE:
Supervises Paint and Grind departments and provides leadership while working in collaboration with multi-shift Supervisory team. Ensures safe and productive processes are in place while focusing on teammate development to support the quality standard of the customer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Safety

• Trains to and enforces policies regarding safety requirements

People

• Trains to and enforces all company policies
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems
• Primary trainer of Level 4 Board

Quality

• Trains to and enforces policies regarding Quality Standards
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines

Responsiveness

• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials
• Consults with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

Cost

• Trains to and enforces policies regarding work procedures

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performs activities of workers supervised
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 - 5 years experience in a Powder Coat paint and grind environment
• Supervisory experience in Powder Coat paint preferred

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Capable of deciphering specifications, drawings, blueprints, shop job orders
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred
• Able to work with time constraints and meet deadlines
