Job Summary for Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Contract RN

Nurse Connection Staffing is currently seeking Syracuse based licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to fill per diem supplemental staffing needs for business partners throughout CNY, Western New York & the Capital District Region. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NYS Registered Nursing License and have 2 years of full-time experience working in Hospital & Acute Care setting within the past 3 years.

Current contract opportunities include (but NOT limited to):

• Medical-Surgical Unit “Med-Surg” or Med Surg / Telemetry (Tele)
• ICU – Intensive Care Unit
• ER – Emergency Room or ED Emergency Department
• OR – Operating Room
• PCU – Progressive Care Unit
• NiCu – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• L&D – Labor & Delivery
• PACU – Post Anesthesia Care unit
• Cardiac – step down unit

Qualifications / Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Must hold a valid NYS Registered Nursing License
• Within the past 3 years you must have 2 years of full-time experience working in Hospital & Acute Care setting
• Current medical documentation to include physical and PPD within the past year and proof of MMRs (immunizations or Titers)
• To work as a Registered Nurse in one of our specialty areas you must meet additional requirements
