Job Description:

As a Final Inspector of tubular steel products, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously inspect tubular steel components and assemblies to ensure they meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with production teams to identify and address any defects or deviations from the established quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough visual inspections of tubular steel products for defects, including but not limited to cracks, surface irregularities, and dimensional inaccuracies.
2. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances according to engineering specifications.
3. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as magnetic particle testing (MT), ultrasonic testing (UT), or dye penetrant testing (PT) as required.
4. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of all inspections performed.
5. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures and regulations in the inspection area.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure clear understanding of inspection requirements and findings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality control or inspection techniques preferred.
• Proven experience in inspecting tubular steel products or similar metal fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and irregularities in complex components.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and NDT instruments.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adhere to strict quality and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment with occasional overtime as needed.
