Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant to become a permanent member of their accounting team in Canoga Park! As the Senior Accountant, you will bring your expertise and enthusiasm to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support the growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Prepare and interpret financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of account reconciliations
• Review journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required
• 2 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in SAP or Priority accounting software desired
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and data
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
