DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER

Full-Time Position

Location: Boulder, Colorado (flexible workplace)

Nova Sky Stories utilizes a hybrid model workplace that balances the responsibilities of shows with the benefits of a flexible office environment. Employees work where needed, in the field when shows are active and from one of our global offices with telecommute options. 

In this position you can expect to work at the Boulder, CO HQ.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Digital Content Manager at Nova Sky Stories, you will oversee the planning, execution, and launch of digital content across the company.

Your vision will transform live drone performances into captivating digital narratives, driving audience engagement on multiple platforms to inform, entertain, inspire, and engage clients, artists, producers, and audiences worldwide. 

This role involves travel up to 10-25% of the time to various show locations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the development and distribution of compelling video content and sizzle reels across digital platforms, websites, and other public-facing channels to enhance Nova’s online presence and audience engagement.
• Facilitate and assume key responsibility of managing on-site video production teams to capture sky storytelling at each show.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to craft engaging campaigns and optimize partnerships to further align strategy, budgets, and goals.
• Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital content strategies.
• Regularly update the Nova Sky Stories website and social media platforms with dynamic content to highlight Nova’s innovative drone technology and storytelling.
• Manage all digital assets effectively and ensure they align with the Nova brand vision.
• Review, edit and finalize photography and video content for a number of different platforms. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in marketing, particularly in digital and social media.
• Proficient in resourcing videographers and photographers and understanding camera and file type requirements.
• Strong video and photo editing skills.
• Exceptional copyediting skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under short delivery timelines with rapid turnaround.
• Adaptability to highly creative and frequently changing project environments.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude with an unwavering work ethic.
• A proactive, resourceful individual who embodies a startup mentality and collaborative culture.
