Maintenance Technician

A standard work day for a Maintenance Technician consists of providing in-person assistance and service to residents with regards to service requests in the apartment. Requests may include, but not be limited to electrical, plumbing, painting, hardware repairs and possible sheetrock repairs. Additionally, a Maintenance Technician will help make apartments rent ready when one person moves out. This includes repairs, and monitoring vendors through the painting, cleaning and carpet cleaning process. Other duties may include ensuring the curb appeal of the property, resident retention and interaction under Fair Housing Guidelines, responding to emergency on call calls, and anything else the Maintenance Supervisor feels is pertinent to the position.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications/Preferred Experience

  • Strong electrical and plumbing skills, and/or customer service experience desired.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
