Norton Childrens Autism Center, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group provides diagnostic services and care for those with Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD). It is a multidisciplinary center that provides diagnostic and other ASD related assessments, consultations, short term group/ individual therapy in addition to ongoing medical care. The team is composed of pediatric psychology, speech language therapy, occupational therapy, psychiatry, advanced practice providers and neurology and work collaboratively to deliver evidence-based, family-centered, community-responsive diagnostic, therapeutic and medical services to children with developmental needs related to ASD. The team works closely with other specialists from the Norton Childrens Development Center as well as providers in the community to provide seamless care for children and families with ASD.
