Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. is in search of a Registered Dental Hygienist for its Shelby clinic. This position would be scheduled to work on Fridays. Perfect for Dental Hygienists who only work Monday through Thursday and would like to pick up some extra income. 

The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing preventative dental care for patients, encouraging total body health and scheduling appointments for hygiene. The Hygienist is also responsible for sanitizing operatory and instruments after each patient visit. 

Wage range: $30.00-39.00 an hour

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a registered dental hygienist in the state of Michigan
• Preferably able to offer adjunctive services such as Nitrous Oxide administration and/or delivery of Local Anesthesia
• Must be up to date on CPR certification and CEU requirements
• Ability to work in an independent and flexible manner
• Well-versed in sterilization, OSHA, PPE, and infection control
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Cultural sensitivity 
• Must be comfortable and compassionate working with low socio-economic status patients
