Geologics is seeking a talented Principal Systems Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners in support of a mission-critical, classified program. This a 6-month contract position with the potential for direct-hire conversion, dependent on qualifications and skillset. Position: Principal Systems Engineer Type: W-2, Contract to Direct Hire (6 month contract with potential extension or direct-hire conversion) Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO DoD Clearance Requirement: In order to be considered for this position, an Active Top Secret-SCI is required. Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
Interacting with customers and end-users
Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Required Skills/Qualifications: In order to be considered for this position, an Active Top Secret-SCI is required.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered if all other qualifications are met. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, to include:
Experience in Algorithm development
Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications
Experience in the RF domain
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Familiar with Xmidas
Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
