As a Systems Engineer you will play a critical role as part of the Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) support contract for the U.S. Navy. What You Will Do * Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
* Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
* Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
* Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
What You Must Have * Must have an Active Secret Clearance or above to be considered.
* Knowledge of all phases of systems engineering for the specific purpose of organizing, directing and leading technical efforts in the concept formulation, project planning and project engineering.
* Have experience in networking standards, architectures, protocols and systems as it applies to training/testing devices, simulation, simulators and instrumentation.
* Have professional engineering experience in analysis, design, development, integration and test of military systems and knowledgeable in system architecture and domain engineering.
* Have experience supervising or leading multi-disciplined or matrix teams, with specialized experience in engineering disciplines or technical areas (such as visual, C4I, software, firmware, maintenance management, logistics engineering).
* 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Bonus Points For... * Strongly prefer candidates with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent.
* Prefer candidates with BFTT (Battle Force Tactical Trainer) experience. Physical Requirements Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
