Position Definition:
Are you a scientist looking to make a profound difference? Join a lab working on cutting-edge research projects in the field of cancer biology and cancer genomics with a focus in prostate cancer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment and to contribute to the application of technologies including single cell genomics, CRISPR/Cas9, and high-throughput screens to understanding cancer development, drug resistance, and mechanisms of gene regulation.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead projects into the identification and characterization of new therapeutic targets in cancer. This position is funded and hired through NCIRE- The Veterans Health Research Institute which is affiliated with San Francisco VA Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Job Requirements:
The base wage range for this position is $66,560.00 - $93,060.24 per year. Salary and rank will commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. The wage actually offered to a successful candidate will take into account various relevant and non-discriminatory business factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, and skills, and education, as well as internal equity considerations. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including bonuses.
