Job Description: Security Officer - Non-Commissioned Overnights

Job Summary:

The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and customers. This position will be full-time and will work 12 hour shifts. The Security Officer will be stationed at the gate and will be responsible for checking IDs, monitoring the entrance and exit of trucks, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the entrance and exit of trucks
• Check trucks on access and egret
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees, visitors, and customers
• Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
• Respond to emergencies and report when necessary
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security officer license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work weekends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic computer skills
