North Suffolk is looking for an IT Asset and Service Specialist to join our team! The IT Asset and Service Specialist will report to the Manager of IT Operations with additional supervision by the Chief Information Officer. Will also be responsible for the IT Asset Inventory. Responsible for the management of IT services including voice, data, mobility solutions, mobile apps. Responsible for systems inventories, data entry, reports generation and general Information Technology maintenance and repair.

This position requires occasional off-site travel. Reliable transportation is mandatory.

What you'll do:

• Identify, monitor and resolve potential problems and existing issues on Information Technology systems. Including but not limited to hardware issues, software issues telecommunication issues and data transmissions.
• Work with Information Technology team in resolving problems, issues related to requests and projects.
• Perform periodic maintenance and inventory of all Information Technology systems. Including and not limited to hardware, software and communications equipment.
• Acts as internal liaison of vendors including telephone, internet, cable, mobile/ cell phone, LTE and related applications/ apps

What you'll need:

• Education:
  • High School or GED diploma required.
• Experience:
  • Strong IT support an Costumer Service skills.
  • Basic telecommunications and Voicemail knowledge.
  • Experience in diagnosing problems and supporting diverse user community. Hardware / Software installation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of iOS, Android, MDM and Microsoft products is required. Previous experience in supporting Microsoft Networks preferred.
