Your Role: As our newest Ophthalmic Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, assisting our esteemed ophthalmologists with a variety of tasks, from conducting preliminary tests to educating patients on eye health.   • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Experience as Ophthalmology Assistant preferred
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Medical Terminology a plus
  • Intricate understanding of the eye
  • Ability to interact with patients/coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well as a team player
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientated; adequate spelling skills
