The RN is a Professional Nurse who is responsible for providing resident care and nursing services for physically ill residents in a long term care or assisted living facility. RNs direct, initiate and implement resident care plans. RNs are responsible for administrative and supervisory tasks for the nursing department. RNs assess, evaluate and treat minor illnesses and manage chronic health problems.
