You’ll work with our Kids Ministry team to develop church-wide strategies for coordinating and creating fun environments for kids to experience and learn about Jesus.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• You'll help supervise and lead Kids Ministry services and environments as needed on Sunday mornings - 3-4 weeks of the month

• You’ll provide administrative support including tracking kids attendance, maintaining our database, reserving meeting spaces, calendar, registrations and sign-ups

• You'll greet new families and assist them in getting their children connected in the appropriate classrooms and follow-up by contacting these families by note, phone, or text

• You'll work to improve and implement all of our family connection processes for kids to take next steps

• You'll assist and help set-up for weekend Kids Ministry Sunday services, while also ensuring that supplies are prepped for volunteers

• You'll help organize and distribute curriculum to volunteer leaders for elementary programs and classes

• You'll help with Kids Ministry games and/or activities when needed

• You'll order, stock and maintain departmental supplies

• You'll assist in recruiting and training volunteers for Sunday morning elementary small group classes

• You'll participate in the overall planning and execution of Kids Ministry programs and monthly special events

• You'll hold a key leadership role in our annual summer Kids Camp X - including being active and present for all prep, training and the actual executing of the camp itself

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proficient in Google Drive Suite and the use of Mac & PC’s

• Maintains regular attendance at worship services and demonstrates active participation at Hills Church

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience working or high-level volunteering for a church, non-profit
