Provides all clinical services under theHRMC Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Protocol. An essential jobfunction is a reliable, predictable 40-hour per week job, on site, with regularattendance.REQUIREMENTS - APRN(Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner)Education/Knowledge: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Completed an approved Psychiatric Mental Health APRN Program. Licensed as a Registered Nurse and as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Tennessee. Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Certificate of Fitness from the Tennessee Board of Nursing. DEA certification (or in the process of attaining it)Must have obtained a minimum of 500 clinical hours with a preceptor.Physical: Outpatient psychiatric clinic or residential treatment environment. Some exposure to biological hazards and unpleasant odors. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
