Our office is rapidly growing and we are looking to hire a full time individual to fit right into our company. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. The Customer Service Representative will be our first point of contact answering phones and providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects.

Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position. An outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.

Responsibilities
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products..
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
  • Provide customers with additional information
Requirements
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
