The Warehouse Office Clerk is a key component of our warehouse operations team, focusing on the administrative tasks that facilitate the smooth running of our warehouse. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, data entry mastery, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. The successful candidate will support various functions, from coordinating with the sales team to handling customer inquiries, making this a multifaceted position.
The pay range is $19-$21/hr (depending on the skills/experience).
Responsibilities:
· Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update inventory records.
· Assist in scheduling and coordinating shipments and deliveries.
· Handle administrative tasks related to warehouse operations, including filing, record keeping, and reporting.
· Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
· Provide administrative support to the warehouse management team.
· Address and resolve queries from the sales team or customers in a timely and professional manner.
· Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse management procedures.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures within the office area of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
· Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment.
· Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
· Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations.
· Customer service oriented with a proactive approach to addressing and resolving issues.
