Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist for a travel contract. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the scanning process
- Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality images
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as required by law
- Proficient knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other medical staff
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
