Registered Nurse Manager - Mixed Acuity Nursing

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Mixed Acuity Nursing Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction.
• The clinical manager of the nursing department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated nursing director.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Mixed Acuity Nursing Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
• 5 years of nursing experience in an academic medical center hospital setting
• 3 years of nursing leadership experience in an academic medical center hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
