Social Worker - Part Time ED 12 hr 8pm-8am Nights - Queens

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, serving Queens and metro New York residents.

We are seeking a Social Worker for our Emergency Department Part Time 12 hr Nights.

Utilize your inpatient experience to provide a variety of psychosocial services, coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. This is a night shift part time, 12 hrs 8pm-8am 2 shifts/ week with one weekend every 3 weeks and occasional holidays

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of inpatient Medical/Surgical experience

• Discharge Planning experience

• LCSW

Required Criteria

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
