Dialysis Center Receptionist - Full Time - Day Flex - Queens

As a Clerk Receptionist, you will provide a variety of receptionist, secretarial, and high-level clerical functions for the department. This includes:

• Performing clerical support functions
• Preparing Lab tubes
• Filing a variety of materials
• Typing letters, memos, reports, forms, files, and other materials as directed
• Greeting patients and/or visitors, vendors, and staff
• Answering phone calls into department
• Maintaining calendars and scheduling events

Having and maintaining a high level of customer service, as well as developing interdepartmental relationships, is key to being successful in this role.

This is a full-time, day flex shift position based out of our NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Outpatient Satellite Dialysis Center in Fresh Meadows, NY.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience working in an outpatient dialysis center

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a thorough knowledge of office equipment and supplies and typing of at least 60 wpm gained through at least 1 year of clerical experience or graduation from a commercial or secretarial school.
