Nursing Attendant - Full Time Night - 2 North - Med Surg/Cardiac

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.
This is a Full Time Night (36.25 hrs/wk; 11P - 7A) shift position at NYP/Queens Hospital. Weekends are required for the first 2 years of employment.
Required Criteria

• 2 years of Nurse Attendant experience, Completion of a certified Nursing Attendant training program or presently enrolled in a Nursing School program.
• BLS from AHA
• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be able to complete mandatory 2 week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
