Essential Job Functions:
•Documents vital signs, intakes, outputs, heights, weights, and dietary intake.
•Provides a safe patient care environment which is stocked, clean and organized.
•Assesses discharge planning needs and notifies appropriate personnel.
•Makes spiritual support available as appropriate.
•Interacts with patient and families appropriate to age of patient; delivers care according to age and developmental level of patient.
•Demonstrates flexibility as patient needs change.
•Performs proficiently in a calm and professional manner during crisis or emergency situations.
•Is willing to attempt new procedures and skills and is able to incorporate new skills in to everyday practice.
•Achieves quality performance when adapting to new routines, procedures and skills.
•Uses the problem solving process to provide quality care based on the assessed need of the patient.

Requirements
Education :
•Current Nursing Certification in South Carolina
•BLS required
Personal:
•Works effectively with others.
•Willingness to work under supervision; willing to assume responsibility for the supervision of others.
•Conforms to established dress code policy. Always neat and in appropriate business attire.
Experience:
•Clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
