Description

Interpersonal skills used to effectively communicate; ability to apply problem solving skills in several situations; ability to cope in stressful environment when dealing with patients, physicians, etc. The CNA provides individualized patient care using age appropriate skills while under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

Applicant must be a graduate of a nursing assistant program or a student of a nursing program that has completed fundamentals of nursing class or on the job training. BLS certification required. Clinical experience in an acute care environment preferred.
