Title: Event Maintenance Assistant
Hours: Part-time ; flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
Location: Moorpark, CA
Are you organized, energetic, and looking for a dynamic part-time role? Our premier event venue located in the heart of Moorpark, California, is in search of a dedicated Personal Assistant/Runner to support our bustling event operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the diversity of tasks and challenges each day brings. 
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the event venue, ensuring smooth execution of events. Lifting, hauling, handyman experience preferred.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Act as a runner for errands, including picking up supplies, delivering documents, and other tasks as needed to support event operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests and clients with inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure all event needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Support the venue team in setting up and breaking down event spaces according to specific requirements.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Construction and/or maintenance experience preferred as heavy lifting is required. 
  • Proven experience in a similar role or strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings to align with event schedules.

Compensation $19-$24 per hour
