JobDescription:
The OR Nurse functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in theOperating Room. Organizes and administers individualized, professional patientcare to patients within the Operating Room. Provides nursing care in accordancewith the objectives, policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital andAORN, ASPAN and SGNA standards. Participates in patient teaching; incorporatesthe needs and behavior of the patient’s specific age/cultural groups inplanning and providing care. Participates in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
RN with currentConnecticut license
BSN preferred
Demonstrates excellencein customer service
Highly effective verbaland written communication skills.
Self-directed inclinical responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability towork effectively with others
Ability to manage andorganize multiple clinical priorities.
