Role: Infrastructure Vmware Architect

Location: Pennsylvania (Need few days in Month onsite in PA)

Duration: 12 Months

They need someone to operate at a high level...technical and leadership/SME to develop a go forward plan for virtualization/storage.

From the client recently:

Skills Needed:

• VMWare - top skill - 100's of machines, needs ESXi experience
• Wants someone to envision the future state of VMWare
• AWS is big too since they are heading in that direction for storage of the backup tapes (Amazon S3, AWS Cloud WAN)
• Linux is a big skill to have
• Disaster recovery (plans and testing experience)
• Servers, HP Blades, Hardware experience
• Data standards, Storage, Networks (must have these skills)
• Implementing Veam now, so that would be helpful
• Azure is a secondary skill set, but helpful
• Prefer local (just east of Allentown, PA), but will pay hotel expense a few times per month for someone who can drive in
• Interview - 1^st with Manager, 2^nd with the team, maybe a 3^rd wrap-up call
