Shift: Day shift ; Night shift
Job Location: Clinton, IA
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary for Forklift Operator: Receive, unload, load, move, weigh, stack and stage materials using a forklift or skid steer. Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Responsibilities for Forklift Operator:
- Unload product by operating a forklift or skid steer while using appropriate handling and safety techniques
- Segregate material though the use of a forklift or skid steer, weigh, label, check and stage inbound materials correctly
- Check materials to ensure the paperwork description aligns correctly
- Set up supplies needed to prepare totes for loading
- Inspect forklift and other equipment, operate safely
- Sign/date and fill out reports
- Maintain good housekeeping using organizational skills
- Identify damages and report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
- Forklift experience/ skid steer experience preferred
- Possess valid drivers license
- Pass a drug screen
