Position: Lead Fabricator (Welder)

Location/s: Marion, OH

Duration: Full time, Contract

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Mon-Fri with OT as needed)

Pay Rate: Starting at $26.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Fabricator (Welder) to join our team. As the Lead Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment for both yourself and other team members, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of fabricated products. This role requires expertise in fabrication and welding, and we are specifically looking for candidates with substantial experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Set up welding equipment according to project requirements.
• Perform welding tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Provide guidance and supervision to other fabricators/welders as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding.
• AWS D1.1 Certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills. 

• Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony sex offender)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
