FSST Health Center Dental Assistant
Summary:
The FSST Health Center Is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant
Primary duties to include chair side assistance to dentists performing basic dental procedures and x-rays. Assist dentists in all aspects of dentistry including endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, maxillofacial prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial procedures in outpatient setting. Prepares operatory for patient care and prepares patients for treatment. Educates patient in basic oral health care. Provides post-op treatment instructions as directed by dentist. Provides routine maintenance on dental equipment and instruments. Cleans, disinfects and sterilizes surfaces. The ideal candidate for this position has a background working with patients of all ages.
Education/experience:
Successful completion of a dental assistant program, and 2 years’ experience is preferred but not required. We are open to persons with experience but not certified; employer open to provide training and supervision for the right candidate. Good team player. Empathetic enjoys serving patients. Exceptional customer skills. Strong knowledge of computer programs.
Sign-on and retention bonus potential.
Must submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and P.L 101-630 background investigation.
