Department: Quality Control
Summary: The roles and responsibilities of the QC Assistant Manager are as follows:
Integrate and administer customer quality requirements throughout organization; Facilitate the corrective action process throughout the organization; Facilitate design change and implementation; Assist with department objectives and KPI; Verify products and processes meet design intent; Internal and external auditing support; SQCD training and monitoring compliance; Support and implement MNCR processes and supplier development processes; Assignment and tasks as directed by management.
Reports To: QC Manager
Responsibilities

• NPGS quality requirements and judgment
• Adhere to all TS 16949 requirements.
• Support /follow ISO 14001 procedures.
• APQP/ANPQP/CQM Administration
• Creation and maintenance of QMS documentation
• Coordination and application of the corrective action process
• Containment as a function of corrective or preventive action
• Complete material non-conformance reports, appropriate inspection sheets and other related reports
• Implementation of quality improvements
• SPC/MSA as applicable
• Measurement of critical characteristics
• Direct, train, supervise, and administer policy to QC associates.
• Maintain conformance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate QC department functions and communications
• Participate and promote participation in company programs.
• Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Any additional duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Project or equivalent)
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends with short notice.
• Familiarity with inspection gauges, tools, measurements, and QC testing
• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent field experience

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents and to operate equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
