Job Description

Cineo Lighting is a division of NBCUniversal. We design, manufacture and sell high-quality LED lighting instruments for the motion picture, television and broadcast industries. We are seeking an exceptional Director of Operations, located in Chandler, AZ area to join as a key member of our management team. 

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all Operations staff and processes within Cineo including inventory and supply chain management, manufacturing, purchasing, customer support/service, sales order fulfilment, shipping and receiving.
  • Manage the Cineo AZ facility including offices, labs and warehouse.
  • Partner with the Sales on forecasts and Finance to develop Operations budget including staffing, procurement and inventory planning. 
  • Support interoffice systems, including implementing an upgrade to existing MRP software system.
  • Manage all sales order processing and fulfillment including product shipment and demo systems. Manage and improve these processes for greater accuracy, reduced shrinkage, lower shipping costs, and improving customer communications.
  • Manage supply chain including manufacturing, quality control and purchasing. Work with Engineering to qualify CMs and collaborate to achieve product cost reduction with specific annual targets.
  • Manage the customer support team and customer service including RMA process, spares inventory and customer support software systems. Collaborate with Engineering on technical support and product improvement priorities (ECOs).
  • Create and implement standards, policy, best practices, and SOPs.
  • Support our on-site LED repair center including employee training, warehouse inventory procurement, and general order processing.
  • Build thoughtful reporting and presentations which demonstrate results and earn executive buy-in and alignment around near and long-term projects and initiatives.

  • Communicates with ease- You have a way with words. You can build and present compelling business cases at the senior leadership level and you have expert negotiation skills.

What You Have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 8 years of experience in managing all aspects of operations
  • 5 years of experience managing teams of large scales
  • 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, purchasing and logistics.
  • 1 year experience with quality testing in a product lifecycle
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing Operations of an OEM business with sales exceeding $20M
  • Ability to navigate through intricate scenarios and diverse personalities
  • Must be willing to work in Chandler, AZ
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

What Could Set You Apart…

  • Master’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Experience with MRP/ERP/CRM and Inventory management software
  • Strong technical and engineering background
  • ISO, 5S and 6 Sigma experience
  • Repair center experience
