Temprel Inc is Hiring a Remote Business Development Sales Representative

Temprel, Inc. is a manufacturer and seller of temperature sensors and related equipment including:

  • Thermocouple Mounting Hardware
  • Brass and Stainless Steel Compression Fittings
  • Brass Hose Couplings
  • Hose Clamp Mounts
  • Custom Mounting Solutions
  • Brake and Rubbing Thermocouples
  • Thermowells
  • RTDs

Our products are used in a variety of industries including Automotive Research and Development, Diesel Engine Testing, Aerospace, Boiler and Furnace Applications, Plastic Injection Molding, Gas Turbine Exhaust, Kiln Temperature Measurement, Dairy Pasteurization, and Laboratory Experiments.

The company was founded in 1968 and manufactures products in Boyne City, MI. The company has a long-tenured staff of well-trained craftspeople that take pride in being a “Made-in-Michigan” producer of high quality temperature sensors. Temprel also has a remote sales office in Pontiac, MI.

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with 2-3 years of industrial sales experience, preferred. You will be responsible for all selling Temprel's product, with some travel (approx. 30% depending on location). Selling activities include: product presentations, relationship building, cold calling, contract/pricing negotiations, and most importantly growth. Previous sales training and experience and/or understanding of thermocouples would be a plus.

  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Ability to manage a territory with quota based achievement required
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and loyalty
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing business helpful
  • Mechanical or Business degree
