• 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (nights)
• 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)

About the Role:

Cambay Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA Contingent Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents receive quality care aligned with their individual plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation, following established care plans.
• Ensure residents' comfort and safety by monitoring vital signs, responding to call bells promptly, and reporting any changes in health status to the nurse.
• Perform range of motion (ROM) exercises and assist with transfers as needed.
• Provide emotional support and maintain positive communication with residents, families, and visitors.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) with a permanent New Jersey CNA license.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience working as a CNA in an LTC (subacute skilled nursing) setting.
• Willingness to manage care for patients with various conditions, including COVID-19 positive patients (no exceptions).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, compassion, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work nights and weekends on a flexible schedule.
• Ability to pass a client-issued general competency exam administered by the facility.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working with senior and disabled populations.
