NATIONAL RECOVERY STAFFING LLC is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Southwest, FL

Description

The Clinical Director is responsible for formulating and providing oversight to new program development, supervise existing programs within the facility and provide effective collaboration between the administrative and clinical management. He/she is also a member of the Treatment Team and provides input into the development of the patient’s clinical record and treatment course. The Clinical Director is responsible for the implementation of elements of performance, and standards of compliance of the Program as per Licensing standards. He/she functions under the guidance of their state licensure with The Detox Center II, LLC. accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

  1. Provides ongoing supervision and support to clinical and non-clinical staff performing Direct Care Services.
  2. Assures a Client updates email is updated on a daily basis.
  3. Oversees a regular systemic review of UR notes and Peer reviews.
  4. Coordination and scheduling of Clinical staff meeting.
  5. Completion of department goals and objectives for assigned areas of responsibility or departments.
  6. Works with departmental budgets with input from directors and/or supervisors.
  7. Works closely and coordinates activities related to Support Services with other management staff.
  8. Acts as liaison between clinical staff and CEO and/ or supervisors to assure that issues are addressed, and complaints resolved.
  9. Addresses patient, family, and employee complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  10. Administers Daily Clinical Staff meetings and participates in Treatment Team meetings.
  11. Actively participants in individual client interdisciplinary treatment plan meetings.
  12. With other management personnel, assures the facility’s compliance with Joint Commission, Department of Children and Family Services, and other regulatory agencies.
  13. Assures appropriate representation on various Performance Improvement Teams (e.g. Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Leadership, Rights, Responsibilities, and Ethics, and Safety, etc.)
  14. Keeps abreast of legislative and legal changes which may have an impact on operations.
  15. Communicates to patient’s primary therapist any medical problems, which can interfere or are interfering with their participation in the program.
  16. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
  17. Performs clinical activities in a safe, professional manner & maintains compliance with established mental health care standards.
  18. Reports abuse of patient’s rights immediately.
  19. Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO.

SUPERVISED BY: CEO

POSITION/INDIVIDUALS SUPERVISED: All Clinical Staff and Group Facilitators

INTERRELATIONSHIPS: Maintains open communication lines with the CEO, Director of Operations, Admissions Director, Director of Nursing medical, Compliance Officer, Human Resource.

STATUS: Exempt

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Position requires work in a temperature-controlled environment; 80% - 90% of the time spent indoors.
  • Low potential exposure to violent situations.
  • Low potential exposure to airborne/blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED: Computer, Telephone System, Fax Machine, Printer/ Scanner

JOB CATEGORY UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS: Routine tasks involve no potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although situations may arise in which the employee might encounter potential exposure to any of the above.)

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree with college courses in Social Work, Mental Health or Marriage and Family related fields are preferred. A minimum of (3) years of experience in a supervisory position within the healthcare industry may be substituted for degree.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years in healthcare management experience required, with mental health background preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LCSW, LMHC, CAP or LMFT

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
  • Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the Discipline.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards. Knowledge of State & Federal statutes regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
  • Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in verbal & written Communication Skills.

AGE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS SERVED/RESPONSIBILITY: Adults.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Familiar with community resources
