As a Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for managing processes for our warehouse inventory, shipping, and receiving.
What you'll do...

• Responsible for activities related to picking, packing, auditing and shipping
• Prepare and package orders for shipment
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Responsible for accurately posting transactions when moving products
• Package and label items correctly; create FedEx labels
• Build wood crates or pallets by physically measuring and cutting lumber, for equipment to be shipped in
• Responsible for receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
• Inspect product for defects or damage; Report damage or missing inventory to management team
• Verify inventory counts and physical inventory as needed
• Operate forklift, pallet jack or other equipment as needed
• Safely load/unload NCS parts and materials from delivery vehicles or throughout the facility as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with the organization and good housekeeping of the NCS facility (6S practices)
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

What you'll need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• MRP System and scanner experience, preferred
• Experience with data entry and general use on computer systems
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools
• Ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and fellow employees
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift medium weight up to 50 lbs
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
• Ability to climb ladders safely
• May sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
