Profile Summary Primary supervisor over monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting for Fixed Assets and Federal Home Loan Bank program with involvement in accounting and reporting for other Corporate areas (employee compensation and benefits, pension, debt and equity accounting). Primary responsibilities include oversight of the accounting close and reconciliation processes, including supervision of offshore staff. Profile Description Responsible for supervising monthly and quarterly Fixed assets and Federal Home Loan Bank program accounting and reporting Review journal entries for monthly close process and manage account reconciliations while adhering to accounting policies Reviews Corporate accounting related deliverables to financial reporting teams to ensure the timely, accurate completion of U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting financial reports for all required filings Stays abreast of new activity within Corporate accounting areas and assists with technical accounting research. Performs advanced problem solving and complex analysis Organizes and manages projects to completion; leads implementation of process improvements Leads other analysts in establishing, modifying, documenting, and implementing accounting and reporting processes and control procedures Manages associates within the function including completion of assigned duties and accounting and reporting responsibilities, coaching, feedback, and development planning Support the interim and year-end financial statement audit Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Experience Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field CPA, CFA, MBA or similar designation strongly preferred 7-10 years related experience required Managerial experience strongly preferred Analytical and problem solving skills Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively and clearly communicate and influence others including senior leadership A self-starter, self motivated, self disciplined and performance driven #LI-Remote Be Well.
