Position: Junior Maintenance Technician
Job Location: Forst Lake, MN
Job Details:
• Helping on installs, assists to maintain, and repair facility equipment and systems including but not limited to packing and line machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, air compressors, plumbing and HVAC systems, etc.
 • Supports Maintenance and Production department with proper machine operation, document control, trouble shooting and change over activities.
 • Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance Systems (MPS)
• Assists with monitoring and maintaining sufficient and cost-effective inventories of parts and supplies.
• Help to ensure all hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored and handled properly and that all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and updated as required.
• Provides documentation as needed, including data entry into PM software and is responsible for preparing KPI reports in the area.
• Assists with preventative maintenance on an established schedule, including testing on energized electrical equipment.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
Applicant Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Training and/or certification in electrical, mechanical or another related field with basic knowledge in PLC and robotics
• 0-3 years of general maintenance experience including trouble shooting and correcting problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits and power supply maybe considered in lieu of formal training
• Demonstrated skills in operating hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and blueprint and schematic interpretation.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English verbal and written instructions,
• Computer and MS Office literate.
(PREFERRED) • Advanced PLC programming and Robotics skills • Advanced use of excel and CMMS software.
Physical Demands: • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, bend, balance, reach above shoulders, crouch, and frequent use of hands to feel, handle, touch, or manipulate.
• Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds.
