Musicians Institute is Hiring an Admissions Advisor, Enrollment Sales Near Los Angeles, CA
Typical duties include:
- Qualifying applicants through telephone contact and (face-to-face) personal interviews to determine motivation, interest, effort and ability to qualify for various programs.
- Following up on leads and inquiries.
- Finding creative methods to locate new leads.
- Meeting and exceeding established admissions goals under stringent deadlines.
- Quote prices, terms, and conditions and only make representations concerning programs, quality, capacity and other educational particulars as set forth by the school.
- Participating in admissions related recruiting events such as: student orientation, open house events, admissions workshops and outreach events.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the programs offered by Musicians Institute and required to recruit for the following types of prospective students: Domestic students, international students, correspondence students, high school students, VA students, and under classmen students.
- Assisting prospects with the application process.
- Guiding applicants through the start of school and serve as an advocate for prospective students
- Ensuring that students complete required admissions documents and following up with applicants through the enrollment completion process.
- Previous background in Admissions sales is required.
- Strong experience making outbound sales phone calls and generating leads
- Ability to display enthusiasm and interact with people in a positive manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Highly collaborative, curious, creative and team focused.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as a capacity for learning new computer skills/programs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
