SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Education Fellow will deliver educational programming daily/weekly that exemplifies educational excellence and guest service to engage and excite our audience in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content. The fellow will teach across the Museum's channels, including on stages, in galleries, and online through social media and prerecorded video. Through this year-long educational fellowship, they will learn about and experience science and education and their implementation in a museum to hone informal education skills while exploring career directions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is Temporary (Onsite), full-time, 40 hours a week. Sunday-Thursday starting September 2024 through September 2025.
REPORTS TO:
Manager, Museum Programs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Post-high school coursework, technical degree, associate's degree, business or vocational certificate.
Experience: One (1) year or more in a STEM field or education background.
STARTING SALARY:
Non-Exempt (Hourly). $20.66-$23.66 / hour
