Nursing care is based on an individual plan of care/plan of treatment developed by the RN staff members and monitored by the health care team, as ordered by the provider. The RN is directly accountable and responsible for the quality of care provided to patients and has the authority to direct care, provide education, seek resources at the unit/department level, and delegate appropriate tasks. Uses their specialized knowledge to perform the activities of administration, supervision, delegation and evaluation of nursing practice. The RN has continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families/significant others, community agencies, patient care staff, and management.Minimum Requirements:Pediatric experience strongly preferredAt least one (1) year acute care experience preferredPrevious IV therapy experience preferredCentral line experience preferred Education/Licenses/Certifications:Bachelors Degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire.
