CNC Set-Up Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Tinley Park, IL, 60477. As a CNC Set-Up Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts for various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) machines

• Set up and operate Horizontal Machining Center (3-4 axis) machines

• Analyzing specification charts, samples and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements

• Utilize Calipers, Micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for quality inspection

• Read and interpret blueprints for part specifications

• Program and troubleshoot CNC machines using G-Code, M-Code, and Machine Setups for Production Runs

• Complete changeovers

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Certification standards

Qualifications:

• Experience with Dmg Mori Seiki, Brother, and Haas machines
• Proficiency in changeover and set-ups on CNC milling machines
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes and troubleshooting CNC machines
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Previous experience with ISO 9001 Certification preferred
