Overview
The Manager of Pharmacy Infusion Services for Pediatrics oversees the daily pharmacy operations and staff of the Pediatric Satellite to ensure high-quality patient care is provided in compliance with regulations, hospital policies, and practices.
The pharmacy Manager coordinates and administers the pharmacy quality assurance and quality control initiatives as well as develop, implement, and administer pharmacy and institute policies and procedures.
The Pharmacy Manager works with Human Resources to interview and hire pharmacists and technicians. This individual coordinates the onboarding and orientation of new staff members as well as ensure ongoing training and competencies are met.
The manager is expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with DFCI personnel and serve on departmental and interdepartmental committees.
It is expected that they be current regarding trends and developments in pharmacy practice and serve as a role model and mentor to the professional and technical staff.
The pharmacy manager in this position will provide oversight at our Pediatric Clinic in Longwood.
